Your first editing workflow

  1. Create a project, import your footage, and choose project and working-file folders.
  2. For vertical video, check 9:16 sequence settings and arrange clips in the order you want.
  3. Trim unwanted footage, add short captions and audio, and correct transcription errors if you use automatic transcripts.
  4. Play the full edit, review levels and captions, then export in a format and resolution suited to your publishing platform.

Try this: a small editing project

Build a fifteen-second sequence from three shots explaining one scene. Add one-line captions, then adjust the cuts while listening to the audio.

Before you start

Check official OS, memory, GPU, and storage requirements. Start with four tasks: sequence setup, cutting, captions, and export.

Free & paid conditions

Paid subscription. The US official individual-app price is USD 22.99/month on an annual plan billed monthly, with different terms from a month-to-month plan. Check trial, taxes, renewal, and cancellation conditions for your region. [1] [2] [3]
