What it can do
- Gen-4.5 supports Text to Video and Image to Video. With an image input, describe the movement you want rather than repeat everything already visible.
- Describe subject action and camera movement separately. Begin with one motion and refine it after looking at the result.
- Gen-4.5 requires Standard or above. Distinguish the models available on a free account from the requirements of paid models.
Make your first video
- Decide on one shot and check which video models your account can use. Gen-4.5 requires Standard or above.
- For Image to Video, upload an image you have permission to use and write a short motion-focused prompt. For Text to Video, describe the scene as well.
- Choose a supported duration and aspect ratio, then check the credit cost. Select 9:16 for a vertical video when the input mode supports it.
- Generate and inspect the result. Change either the subject movement or the camera movement, then save the shot you want to keep.
Try this: a small practice project
Use your own photo of a cup to make one slow camera push-in. Then change only the camera to a static shot. Comparing one change at a time makes the effect of your prompt easier to understand.
A ceramic cup on a wooden table. The camera slowly pushes in. Soft morning light. The cup remains still. Before you start
Each new generation uses credits. Inspect small text and product shapes afterward. Add accurate captions and product information during editing.
